Dining At the Lakeside at Nuwarawewa we have for generations taken pride in serving tasty and wholesome food for a range of palates, naturally with a focus on Sri Lankan rice and curry using the best of fresh ingredients. In addition, our talented kitchen team also excels in a wide range of Western cuisine and so offers our guests a tantalizing choice. Our Captain and stewards are akways here to help.

Visitors can select from the 'a la carte' menu, a set menu for the day that changes daily with local, western and vegetarian options, and when guest numbers swell, a lavish buffet spread. Enjoy a hearty meal in the airy restaurant, under an umbrella on the terrace, or on the poolside with a view of the Nuwarawewa tank. A smaller menu also gives one the option of in room dining.
